Major Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of innovative prototypes, accelerators, and products leveraging cloud and AI technologies.
• Architect scalable and maintainable systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution strategy, scope, and technical approach.
• Work with the Office of the CTO team to align on architecture across solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and cross-team collaboration.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI frameworks, automation tools, data services) that enhance Presidio’s offerings.
• Ensure alignment with organizational standards, engineering best practices, and long-term maintainability.
• Represent the Innovation Team in technical discussions, client interactions, and demos.

Required Skills And Professional Experience

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Expertise in one or more core languages: Python, Java, Go, C#, or TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).
• Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure AI, Hugging Face, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong architectural and design-thinking skills with a product development mindset.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with standard computer work requirements. Limited travel (<10%) for team meetings, vendor sessions, or technology conferences. May require occasional after-hours work for platform deployments or incident response.
