Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to work on the Airline Gateway (AGW) platform. The role focuses on Python backend development, distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native application development on AWS.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build and enhance backend services using Python.
• Design and develop microservices and REST APIs.
• Drive scalability, reliability, performance and observability.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
• Make architecture decisions and guide the engineering team.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
• Contribute to modernization and future adoption of Go.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems / microservices.
• Deep practical experience with AWS architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance and system design.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and observability tools.
• Aviation/airline domain experience is a plus.
