OMS Engineer Job Description

• Typical Shift Timing (Monday - Friday): 4 am CT to 12 noon CT
• The services will include:
• Monitoring and Reporting of applications OMS, MQ, DB, Azure
  • Order failures during peak
  • Daily reports, weekly reports
  • Agent monitoring, App server monitoring, Application monitoring
  • IT SLA reporting
  • Monitoring of Azure related services
• Application Issues
  • MQ connectivity
  • OMS slowness
  • DB related: connectivity, long running queries
  • Interface issues, external system down
  • Agent down
  • OMS Application down
• Config Update requests from business teams
  • Changing fulfillment network
  • Customer data updates such as Allow backorder, IBT, email IDs, etc.
  • Holiday calendar updates
  • New DC or Location set-up
  • Enabling stores for Fulfillment
  • New Trading Partner setup
  • Application access request
• Data Functional Issues
  • Orders not fulfilled from correct location
  • Order did not release to iSeries
  • RTAM inventory discrepancy issues
  • Order holds not released
  • Orders stuck in status
  • Fulfillment Options Call Failures
  • Order failures
  • DIS Data issues Item cross references, Customer additional address removal of records, pricing failures/issues, super sessions
  • Clearing inventory reservations
• Maintenance Activities
  • MQ upgrade
  • OMS app upgrade
  • DB re-org
  • Supporting OS upgrades Only validations and Monitoring
  • Data Truncation support Only validations and Monitoring DB backup
  • Archival Purging
  • Infra re-sizing - Only validations and Monitoring (Recommendations by OMS Team and performed by Infra team)
  • Agent topology
• Enhancement and development Activities
  • Work on prioritized enhancements and production defects
  • Prioritization guidance provided by FleetPride Lead
• Creating and/or updating of the OMS Runbook
• PMR request creation and work with IBM support team
