Lead Engineer – Mobile

Experience: 5–7 years

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to drive the architecture and technical direction of our Android and iOS applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong Android expertise with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). While deep expertise in both Android and iOS is not required, the candidate should be capable of designing scalable architecture that works across both platforms and collaborating closely with Android and iOS engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of our Android and iOS applications.
• Design scalable and maintainable mobile systems using KMP where appropriate.
• Remain hands-on and contribute to critical technical components.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews and mentor mobile engineers.
• Work closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of mobile development experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android development.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP/KMM).
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Good understanding of iOS architecture and the iOS ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, networking, concurrency, caching, and mobile performance.
• Experience making architectural decisions and mentoring engineers.

Good to have: Swift/SwiftUI experience, Compose Multiplatform, CI/CD, and experience building large-scale consumer mobile applications.
