Lead Engineer - Mechanical Packages

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (Onshore) is looking for Lead Mechanical Package Engineer for its base location Vadodara.

Job Criteria:

• Full Time Graduate in B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) or M.E/M.Tech (Mechanical)
• 15-25 years of experience in Package Engineering essentially in Oil and Gas EPC Projects.
• Should have functioned as Lead Engineer for projects which are already implemented
• Thoroughly conversant with packaged equipment design as per ASME and other international codes & standards like API.
• Familiarity with international codes & standards, material standards and specifications.
• Experience in design, preparation of mechanical data sheets and specifications
• Experience in vendor offer evaluation and review vendor drawings/ calculations
• Software skills PV-Elite or similar industry standard software
• Well Acquainted in international codes like API, ISO, DIN, BS, ASME, & other Oil & Gas related codes and standards.

Job Responsibility:

• Lead for assigned projects in the engineering of packaged equipment.
• Should have hands on experience in design and detailed engineering of Water relate packages like waste water treatment of oil & gas industries, Raw water treatment, RO module, Produced water treatment & softening plant for re-injection Petro chemical plant Effluent treatment. Preparation of Requisitions, equipment datasheet, evaluation of vendor offers, and preparation of technical bid analysis, review and approval of vendor document.
• Co-ordinate among project team members on technical matters
• Support/ implement departmental quality management programs
• Trouble-shoot and resolve site problems pertaining to packaged equipment engineering
• Thorough with the multidiscipline engineering functions pertaining to the packaged equipment
• Co-ordinating with the engineering disciplines, proposal, procurement and construction interfaces
