About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Engineer – IT, IoT & AI to lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of innovative technology solutions involving Artificial Intelligence, IoT, automation, cloud technologies, and connected systems.

The ideal candidate should be technically hands-on, capable of managing end-to-end technology projects, and comfortable working across hardware, software, AI/ML, IoT ecosystems, cloud platforms, and automation systems.

The candidate will play a key role in transforming ideas and client requirements into scalable, real-world technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Solution Development

• Lead the design and development of innovative IoT, AI, automation, and intelligent technology solutions.
• Develop scalable technology solutions from concept and prototype to deployment.
• Participate in technical architecture, solution planning, and technology selection.

2. IoT & Connected Systems

• Develop and integrate IoT devices, sensors, gateways, actuators, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Work with microcontrollers and edge devices such as ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and similar platforms.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, communication modules, and industrial devices.
• Implement IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
• Work with edge computing and real-time data processing solutions.

3. AI & Machine Learning

• Design and develop AI/ML-based applications for prediction, automation, monitoring, and intelligent decision-making.
• Work with AI/ML frameworks and tools to develop intelligent applications.
• Integrate trained AI models into real-world software and IoT applications.
• Explore emerging technologies including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) where applicable.

4. Software & Backend Development

• Develop software applications, backend systems, APIs, and system integrations.
• Work with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture.

5. Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage technology solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Work with APIs, databases, networking, servers, and deployment infrastructure.
• Support containerization and deployment using technologies such as Docker.
• Follow modern CI/CD and DevOps practices where applicable.

6. Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

• Lead technical architecture and end-to-end technology development.
• Develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and prototypes.
• Lead testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure technology solutions meet requirements related to quality, scalability, security, and performance.
• Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment.

7. Collaboration & Documentation

• Coordinate with developers, hardware engineers, vendors, clients, and project teams.
• Understand client requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment documentation, and project reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members when required.

8. Research & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging technologies in:
• Artificial Intelligence
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Edge Computing
• Automation
• Embedded Systems
• Industry 4.0
• Experiment with emerging technologies and contribute to innovative product development.

Required Skills:

IT & Software Development :

• Strong programming knowledge in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in REST API development and system integration.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of Linux and server fundamentals.

AI & Machine Learning :

• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
• Experience with one or more frameworks/tools such as:
• TensorFlow
• PyTorch
• Scikit-learn
• OpenCV
• Or equivalent technologies
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into real-world applications.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs will be an advantage.

IoT & Embedded Systems :

Experience working with:

• ESP32
• Arduino
• Raspberry Pi
• Or similar embedded platforms
• Experience with sensor and actuator integration.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as:
• MQTT
• HTTP/HTTPS
• Modbus
• TCP/IP
• Basic understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
• Experience with edge computing and real-time data processing will be preferred.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Understanding of:

• Docker
• APIs
• Databases
• Networking
• Server infrastructure
• Deployment processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification :

B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Electronics
• Electrical Engineering
• IoT
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Or a related Engineering discipline

3–4 years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• IT & Software Development
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• IoT
• Automation
• Embedded Systems
• Technology Development
