Job Summary

As a Lead Engineer - II - Detailed Design, you will be part of an Agile team to design and build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed technical design and architecture of reusable components and patterns within the enterprise design system.
• Define comprehensive technical specifications, API contracts, and implementation guidelines for design system elements.
• Drive the development and evolution of the design system, ensure its scalability, performance, and maintainability across various platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, front-end engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, foster best practices in detailed design, code quality, and system architecture.
• Ensure the design system components adhere to accessibility standards WCAG, performance benchmarks, and security requirements.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards and consistency within the design system.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, anticipate challenges, and propose innovative solutions for complex detailed design problems.
• Champion the adoption and effective utilization of the design system across various product development initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in front-end engineering and design system development.

Educational Qualifications

• Engineering Degree - BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
