About this role:

Hitachi Energy India Limited is looking for Lead Protection & Control engineer in Grid Automation Business located in Peenya, to lead a team of design Engineers for Protection & Control Panel Engineering in High Voltage, Extra High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage Transmission Substations.

• The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Protection & Control Panel Engineering.
• Shall have minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team of design engineers

Job Description:

• Contract Specification assessment (requirements, deviations, risks, opportunities)
• Base design with all necessary concepts (cost effective solutions based on customer contract specification and technical offer)
• Supervise the engineering process and documentation quality of the team of design engineers to ensure submission of drawings/documents technically complete in all respects, compared to the project specification.
• Lead technical resolution of solutions with customers and translating customer requirements into solutions of Hitachi
• Active management of technical changes, risks & claims (only technical part)
• Supporting bid & proposal to find solutions which meet the functional requirements of the customer and be competitive in the market
• Leading CRP drawing standardization and solution optimization activities for set of customers.
