Lead Engineer-Cooling System

Role Overview

Responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of thermal management systems for BEV and xHEV propulsion systems, including battery cooling, e-motor, inverter, and vehicle-level HVAC integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal management systems for BEV/xHEV platforms.
• Define thermal system requirements and component specifications.
• Perform thermal simulation and analysis using GT-SUITE, ANSYS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Support integration of cooling systems with battery packs, e-motors, inverters, and power electronics.
• Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R, and component/system-level validation.
• Coordinate with vehicle architecture, controls, calibration, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Support prototype builds, rig testing, and vehicle-level commissioning.
• Optimize thermal performance, efficiency, reliability, and cooling strategies.
