Lead Engineer - Cimplicity & iFIX

Job Summary

An experienced GE Engineer to design, configure, implement, test, and support Emerson GE solutions for process industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. The role involves engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of GE systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Configure Emerson GE systems Cimplicity, iFIX, Rx3i, GE90-30
• Experience of Migration and upgradation project.
• Finalization of BoM and License requirement.
• Configure HMI graphics, alarms, trends, historian, and reports.
• Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), and test documentation.
• Develop and maintain control strategies, interlocks, and sequencing logic.
• Execute system integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, third-party devices integration
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
• Diagnose and resolve GE system issues related to hardware, software, networking, and control logic.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Emerson GE architecture and engineering.
• Hands-on experience in GE - Proficy machine edition, Cimplicity, Ifix,
• Knowledge of other control systems like Siemens and Rockwell will be advantages
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, OPC, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
• Understanding of instrumentation, process control, and automation systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel abroad or within India for short as well as long duration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is must.
