Lead Electrical Engineer

Role Summary:
Lead the complete Electrical engineering scope for Blue Hydrogen and Blue Ammonia projects, covering pre-bid/conceptual engineering, detailed design, procurement support, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design, system sizing, load calculations, SLDs, cable schedules, equipment specifications and engineering deliverables.
• Handle transformers, switchgear, PCC/MCC, UPS, motors, substations, batteries, grounding, HT/LT cables and protection systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, RFQs, bid evaluations and coordinate with vendors, inspections and FATs.
• Provide technical oversight during installation, testing, commissioning, SAT and system energization.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, IS, ANSI, API, ASME, ATEX/IECEx and applicable US standards.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil and HSE teams; participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Monitor electrical deliverables, project schedules, quality and engineering progress.
• Ensure safe, reliable and maintainable electrical systems, including grounding and lightning protection.

Desired Profile:

• 1016 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in Electrical Engineering, Procurement and EPC/PMC project execution.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Renewable / Power / EPC sectors.
• Exposure to Blue Hydrogen, Blue Ammonia or CCUS projects preferred.
• Experience in vendor management, tendering, contracts and commercial negotiations.
• Open to relocation to Pune.
• Willingness to work in US time zones.
• US work visa preferred.
