Job Description

Vichithram is looking for a Lead Designer to help shape the creative bar, design systems, and craft behind the work we make.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead projects, but you'll also design, critique, mentor, present, and work closely with strategists, copywriters, and developers.

What you'll do

• Lead creative direction across branding, communication, and digital projects
• Take projects from concept to final production
• Set and maintain a high standard of design craft
• Conduct meaningful design reviews and mentor other designers
• Present and defend creative decisions with clients
• Collaborate across strategy, copy, design, and development
• Build systems and processes that make the team and its work better

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and strong visual craft
• Experience across at least two of: Brand Identity, Communication Design, Digital Design
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of the creative process
• Experience working directly with clients
• Ability to give clear, constructive design feedback
• Experience mentoring or reviewing other designers
• Motion, print production, or developer handoff experience is a plus
