Lead - Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Provide technical input & MTO for the various bid submissions to the estimation department.
• Prioritywise, plan issuance of design documents to execute the project
• Attend project & review meetings with clients, vendors, suppliers, and the design and engineering team.
• Prepare and analyze the pressure vessel model in PV Elite.
• Prepare, review, and check design calculations and engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Previously attended ASME audits and passed successfully.
• Familiar with Aramco standards for pressure vessels
• Software: PV-ELITE in pressure vessel design (professional level-latest use 1 week ago, if not before).
• Software: NOZZLE PRO finite element analysis for nozzles.
• Drawing checking, resolving site queries. Coordinate with the execution team & other departments.
• Provide technical guidance to other designers/draftsmen for preparing details/fabrication drawings.
• Client coordination for resolving technical queries during review & approval of design reports/drawings.
• Work distribution among subordinates with effective time management.
• Ensure about the latest codes and standards
• Follow all new projects, carry out the design and send the same to client for approval
• Shall review the as-built drawings of the project prepared by the draughtsman.
• Shall review all drawings for correctness and guide draughtsmen on all drawing-related issues.
