Qualififcation

Essential CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com from a recognized Indian institution qualification to match role seniority.
Desirable/Preferable CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) with exposure to real estate, project finance or treasury systems.

Variety of experience-Budgeting, cash flow, project controls, audit/compliance, business partnering.
Qualitative aspects-Should combine strong control orientation with commercial understanding. Exposure to multi-project, capex-intensive businesses is preferred.

 

1. Define capex budgeting framework, approval workflows and DOA compliance for capex spend.
2. Track commitments vs budgets run periodic forecasting and variance analysis for capex lines.
3. Ensure WBS/CTC mapping and capex coding integrity in ERP/SAP fix exceptions promptly.
4. Govern CWIP ageing, capitalization policies and timely transfer to fixed assets with documentation.
5. Maintain asset register integrity and run reconciliations support audits and observation closures.
6. Align capex phasing to project milestones and funding drawdowns manage end-use reporting.
7. Validate capex payment support documents enforce controls and segregation of duties.
8. Publish capex MIS (utilization, ageing, capitalization status, risks) for leadership reviews.
