Lead - Business Finance

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategy and Planning

Partner with commercial leaders in reviewing distributors- contracts and in developing channel sales targets.

- Collecting, analyzing and modelling information for management decision making.

-Producing the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the business

-Provide analysis and performance management of key business initiatives

-Partner with Marketing/ Commercial /Franchise teams to launch new product / package and improve new products value chain/ ROI

- Drive initiatives to improve profitability of category/ packages

-Assists with product commercialization, pricing, promotions and other special projects as needed

-Providing commercially sound financial analysis for ad hoc projects, including cost effectiveness, commercial viability, operational capability and financial audit/ controls

-Creating and developing a strategic long term plan for the development of the category

-Prepare timely and accurate category plans, forecasts, outlooks and strategic views

-Prepare and finalize plan for the year on Finance category wise .

-Developing an exit strategy for unsuccessful products Review forecasts and analysis of the cash flows and drive cash generation in the business

-Provide financial advice on direction of business; Monitor KPIs for Finance division such as profitability, liquidity, tax compliance, etc.

2. Project Management and Financial Planning & Budgeting

-Ownership of category P&L, including all budgets, forecasts and management reporting

- Daily Sales Report-, partnering with Business Intelligence team.

-Providing commercially sound financial analysis for ad hoc projects, including cost effectiveness, commercial viability, operational capability and financial audit/ controls

- Responsible Revenue forecasting. Model, analyze, summarize and gather information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Work with finance and commercial teams to identify risks and opportunities and to define counter actions.

- Responsible for Region's Budget planning. Driving coordination and consolidation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Rolling Forecasts to develop regional plan and forecasts.

- Prepare and review plan and forecast for the shared service costs / Opex

-Develop financial and investment model for each business channel, store banner and also undertaking sensitivity analysis to deliver business objective

-Monitor return on investment against the plan and provide business case for any investment we going to make

-Manage functionality, usage and continuous improvement of various financial tools, process and procedures'

-Maintain positive and proactive interaction with category leaders to ensure ongoing, effective two-way working relationships for exchange of quality financial information.

-Help implement consumer pricing along with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Providing the Category heads with timely commercial analysis and advice (including financial results, forecasts, and budgets; revenue optimization and cost control) for the business.

3. Analytics

-Using Analytics to prepare customer insights to help sales customize pricing based on the value provided to customers

-Analyzing data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends regarding the product and category

-Provide market analysis to understand and explain significant category performance variations from historical or expected results

-Support and challenge (if necessary) category assumptions in analyzing and implementing business growth opportunities, such as new product development and investment analysis
