Lead Azure Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Azure Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Data Modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing modern cloud-based data platforms, building scalable data pipelines, and enabling data modernization initiatives on Azure.

The candidate should possess strong experience in Azure PaaS services, enterprise data integration, cloud migration, data warehousing, and modern data engineering architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimize modern data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Develop enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Design and implement robust data models supporting reporting and analytics workloads.
• Work on data integration, transformation, data quality, and data modernization initiatives.
• Develop cloud-native architectures for large-scale data platforms.
• Support migration of on-premise databases and applications to Azure.
• Work with Cosmos DB and modern cloud data storage technologies.
• Implement best practices around data governance, performance tuning, and security.
• Participate in Agile delivery and collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
