Lead Automation Engineer - Selenium with Java

Role: Automation Testing - Specialist/Lead

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days per week WFO)

Experience: 6 to 9+ years - (Specialist/Lead)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Specialist/Lead to design and drive scalable test automation solutions across UI, API, and data layers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and a passion for improving quality and delivery efficiency in Agile environments.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and database layers
• Build and execute automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage (functional, regression, integration)
• Identify and automate high-value scenarios to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and enhance test infrastructure for scalability and reliability
• Take ownership of quality across sprints by validating features, tracking defects, and debugging issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams (Development, QA, Product) to promote automation best practices
• Continuously improve test strategy, frameworks, and quality metrics to increase release confidence and delivery velocity

Experience

• 6 - 9+ years in QA/Test Automation (for Specialist/Lead)

Primary Skills

• UI & API Test Automation Expertise - Selenium, Playwright; REST & SOAP tools
• Programming & OOP Skills - Java or Python
• CI/CD & Test Integration - Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, Git

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced SQL knowledge
• Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Healthcare domain knowledge
