About this role
We are seeking a Lead Analyst who is responsible for leading operational excellence, client service delivery, process optimization, and risk management activities across transaction banking products and services. The role serves as a subject matter expert for cash management, payments, treasury services, US regional and commercial banking operations while providing leadership to analysts and partnering with cross-functional teams.
This position requires strong expertise in transaction banking operations, stakeholder management, client servicing, data analytics, regulatory compliance, and process transformation initiatives in a global banking environment.
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution and oversight of transaction banking operations, including domestic and international payments
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan, deposit, ACH, Wire, SWIFT and other payment transactions
- Drive operational efficiency while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Act as an escalation point for complex transaction issues, exceptions, and client concerns.
- Review and monitoring of daily reports like overdraft, DDA, SAV, SDB & CD
- Support business continuity and operational resilience initiatives
- Plan capacity and forecast volumes; manage resourcing and team performance
- Participate in client onboarding, implementation, and service review discussions
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations, AML, KYC, sanctions, and internal control frameworks
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to analysts and junior team members
- Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Support transformation and digitalization projects within GTMS.
- Develop standard operating procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence
Experience and qualification
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Payments, Commercial Banking Operations, or Financial Services, including at least 3 years leading a team.
- Experience supporting corporate, regional, commercial, and institutional banking clients.
- Deep experience in Fiserv, DNA & AFS Vision
- Proven experience in stakeholder management with US or global banks
- Degree in finance or a related field; MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication, judgment and people leadership skills
