Job Description: Lead - Accounts & Commercial (Dy. Manager / Manager) - AhmedabadRoles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts and commercial department for hotels & resorts.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow to maintain financial health.
• Develop and implement effective MIS systems for timely and accurate reporting to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

Minimum Qualification and Skills

• B.Com and MBA (Finance/Accounting) from a recognized institution.
• 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, auditing, and financial reporting, preferably in the hotel & resorts industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, financial analysis, and MIS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
