Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solution Design Manager specializing in Manufacturing Execution to design and implement SAP S/4HANA-based manufacturing processes. The candidate should have strong expertise in manufacturing execution, production planning, SAP PP-PI, MES, and SAP EWM integration, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build SAP S/4HANA-based manufacturing execution processes, integrating production planning, MES, line management systems, PI Historian, ATTP, Finance, Quality, and other related functions.
• Ensure solution designs meet business and user requirements, align with the architectural roadmap, and comply with regulatory and control requirements, including GxP.
• Collaborate with IT experts, business teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and conduct fit-gap workshops, identify integration points and dependencies, propose solutions, and estimate project effort.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and release schedules.
• Ensure solution designs are peer-reviewed, formally documented, and approved by functional leads and business stakeholders.
• Oversee solution testing to ensure quality and compliance with defined standards.
• Promote standardized design and development practices while minimizing unnecessary customization.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, FDA guidelines, and applicable organizational frameworks.
• Collaborate with global process owners, functional teams, adoption teams, and country representatives to gather feedback and improve operational processes.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions for business and technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing execution, production planning, MES, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP PP-PI and MES with SAP EWM.
• Experience in pharmaceutical production, specifically Drug Substance Manufacturing and/or Packaging.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and manufacturing execution processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong presentation, communication, workshop facilitation, and training skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Higher education qualification preferred.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Project management skills and experience.
• Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
