About The Opportunity
Join Ericsson Antenna Systems as a resident Launch Manager based in India, responsible for ensuring safe, predictable, and high-quality product launches at development and manufacturing partner sites. You will lead launch execution, validate industrialization readiness through evidence-based decision making, and drive the successful transition of new antenna products from development into volume manufacturing. Working closely with R&D, Industrialization, Project Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and partner teams, you will ensure readiness across cost, quality, schedule, and volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end launch activities from planning through validation, ramp-up, stabilization, and handover.
- Drive partner readiness through gap assessments, action plans, and risk management.
- Coordinate prototype, pre-series, and production ramp-up builds with partner and internal teams.
- Secure launch gate approvals through robust industrialization, quality, process, and manufacturing readiness evidence.
- Ensure manufacturing documentation, process controls, PFMEA, Control Plans, training materials, and work instructions are in place.
- Monitor launch performance against quality, cost, yield, volume, and delivery targets.
- Identify risks, lead root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive issue resolution.
- Act as Ericsson's resident launch representative, building strong collaboration with partner sites.
- Drive continuous improvement of launch processes, standards, and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong experience in NPI, industrialization, launch management, manufacturing engineering, or product verification.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing readiness, process qualification, PFMEA, Control Plans, quality gates, ramp-up, and serial production handover.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience working with development or manufacturing partners in India or comparable global environments is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; local language skills are a plus.
This role provides the local industrialization presence needed to ensure partner readiness, improve launch transparency, reduce risks, and accelerate successful product introductions. By combining technical expertise, partner engagement, and evidence-based decision making, you will directly contribute to faster time-to-market, improved launch quality, and stable production ramp-up.
