Lathe Machine Operator Turner

We are looking for a skilled Turning Machine Operator to operate and maintain turning machines according to engineering drawings and quality specifications.

Key Responsibility

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, drilling, and related machining operations.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ensure components meet required quality and dimensional specifications.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
• Identify machining defects or machine issues and report them promptly.
• Maintain machining records and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Minimise material wastage and ensure timely completion of production targets.
