Summary: Pod 1 — Context & Ontology Reports to: Engineering Manager, Platform Core (EM1) Experience: 12–15 years Location: Bangalore / US (flexible)
Roles & Responsibilities: This is the tech lead role for Pod 1, the layer that gives every agent on the platform its enterprise intelligence. You will design and own the knowledge graph schema, the ontology that structures Accenture's enterprise concepts, and the ContextLoader implementation.
- Design the enterprise knowledge graph schema — entity types, relationship types, attribute models — across Finance, Legal, Procurement, and HR
- Own the ContextLoader and OntologyRegistry implementations
- Lead Pod 1's three KG/graph engineers, ontology modeler, and search and retrieval engineer
- Establish and govern the ontology schema change process
- Define the bitemporal versioning model for the graph
- Partner with the Platform Data pod (Pod 5) on the ingestion pipeline
Professional & Technical Skills: Has designed and built production knowledge graphs or semantic data models at enterprise scale holds strong opinions about graph data modeling has worked directly with domain experts understands vector search and semantic retrieval.
