A Land Surveyor is a construction industry professional with expert knowledge in determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. construction costs and contracts. Job Responsibilities

• Survey Operations: Use Total Station equipment to take accurate readings, levels, and measurements.

• Project Stakeout: Perform stakeout activities for large-scale projects as per approved drawings.

• Earthwork Volume Surveys: Conduct earthwork and volume surveys using CAD drawings.

• Reporting Data Management: Prepare survey reports in Excel and extract project coordinates.

• Digitization: Digitize physical features and survey data for documentation and reference.

• Site Assessments: Conduct site visits, assessments, and projections for future work.

Job Qualifications

• Professional Attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Technical Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related drafting tools.

• GIS Mapping Expertise: Experience using ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar mapping software.

• Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
