Labvantage Consultant

We are seeking a LabVantage LIMS Lead Developer with 8+ years of experience to lead the technical architecture, customization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise LabVantage LIMS platforms. In this role, you will design and configure core LIMS modules covering Master Data, Sample Lifecycle Management, and Batch Processing, write custom backend extensions using Core Java and SQL, and integrate LabVantage with enterprise ERP systems and laboratory instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• LabVantage LIMS Architecture & Customization: Configure and customize LabVantage LIMS web applications, workflow rules, screen flows, and system parameters.
• Master Data & Sample Lifecycle Governance: Design and maintain core LIMS master data structures including Test Methods, Specifications, Sampling Plans, Batches, and Approval Hierarchies.
• Core Java Backend Development: Author custom Java Action Handlers, User Exits, and API integrations to extend native LabVantage functionality.
• Database & SQL Query Optimization: Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data retrieval, custom LIMS reporting, and performance tuning on Oracle/MS SQL.
• System Integration & LIMS Operations: Build and support interfaces connecting LabVantage with ERP platforms (SAP), instrument data systems (CDS/SDMS), and external databases.
