About this role
- Startup and setup: Ensure run the automatic label applicator, adjusting speed and tension to match upstream bottle flows.
- Changeovers: Adjust guides, sensors, and glue or pressure-sensitive parameters when switching bottle sizes or brand variants.
- Material Loading: Continuously load front labels, back labels, neck foils, or excise tax stamps into the machine magazine or unwind spindles.
- Line changeovers: Change machine settings and parts when switching to a different bottle size or brand product.
- Maintenance and Safety: Clean & Sanitize: Clean the Labelling area and machines at the end of every run to keep the line hygienic.
- Safety Rules: Follow safety rules and use PPE on the shop floor.
- Quality Control and Inspection: Check that labels, statutory warnings, batch numbers, and barcodes are straight, clean, and properly adhered without bubbles or wrinkles.
- Regulatory checks: Ensure alignment with legal mandates for alcoholic beverages, including accurate alcohol volume, warning labels, and state excise holograms.
