Lab Technician

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct blood collection procedures such as phlebotomy and sample collection for patients.
• Perform quality control checks on collected samples to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in laboratory testing, including biochemistry, haematology, and clinical pathology tests using NABL-accredited equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, patient information, and inventory management.

Job Requirements :

• 1-6 years of experience in a hospital setting with exposure to medical laboratory technology (MLT).
• Strong knowledge of biochemistry, haematology, DMLT/BMLT principles and practices.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques with ability to collect high-quality samples from patients.
• Familiarity with NABL guidelines for accreditation standards.
