Lab Technician of Civil construction site

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, prepare, and test construction material samples (e.g., concrete, soil, bitumen, aggregates).
• Conduct standard laboratory and field tests such as slump tests, sieve analysis, compaction tests, moisture content, and compressive strength.
• Maintain accurate test records and prepare test reports for internal use and client submission.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment as per company and manufacturer standards.
• Assist in quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site.
• Ensure safety protocols and lab standards are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to communicate test results and provide technical support.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and requisition materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a construction material testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, IS codes, or other relevant standards.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and procedures.
