Lab Technician cum Qc Executive

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Quality Testing : Conduct routine and advanced testing of peanuts, peanut butter, and related nut/oilseed products for physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters.
• Chemical Analysis : Perform aflatoxin detection, moisture content, oil content, peroxide value, and protein analysis to ensure product safety and nutritional accuracy.
• Certification Compliance : Ensure products meet FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certification standards across peanuts and similar nut/oilseed categories.
• Process Audits : Perform in-process checks during production to maintain consistency and prevent contamination.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of test results, certifications, and corrective actions.
• Supplier Quality : Evaluate raw peanut and nut/oilseed suppliers for quality assurance and compliance.
• Training : Train production staff on hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.
• Continuous Improvement : Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Required Skills Competencies

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI).

• Familiarity with QA/QC tools (SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA).
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (production, RD, supply chain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in QA/QC within peanut, peanut butter, or similar nut/oilseed industries
• Certification in food safety or quality management systems preferred.
