Role & responsibilities

Responsible for overall non-technical operation and administration of the Laboratory in accordance of organizational assignment • To ensure proper communication and co-ordination with Applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies, Appropriate administrative officials. The health care community Including clinicians. The patient population served. • Providers of formal agreements when required. • To manage staff and their recruitment, training required for the operation and their competency assessment as desired by company. • To ensure proper implementation of the quality policy and quality management system. • To implement a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practice and applicable requirements • To select and monitor laboratory suppliers, select referral laboratories/consultants and monitor the quality of their service. • To provide professional development programs for laboratory staff and to provide opportunities to participate in scientific and other activities of professional laboratory organizations. • To define, implement, and monitor standards of performance and quality improvement of the medical laboratory service. • To monitor all work performed in the laboratory to determine that reliable data is being generated. • To address any complaint, request or suggestion from the staff and/or users of laboratory services. • To ensure good staff morale. • To design and implement a contingency plan to ensure that essential services are available during emergency situations or other conditions when laboratory services are limited or unavailable. • Ensure customer satisfaction matrix for internal and external client
