Timings:Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM OR (MORNING SLOT) Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM – 10:00 (EVENING SLOT) PM OR Sat +Sun 11am-4pm (WEEKEND SLOT)

We are looking for a motivated and disciplined MSc student or recent postgraduate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field to join our lab as a part-time intern in Jaipur. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on exposure to basic laboratory work, enjoys practical experimentation, and can also explain scientific concepts clearly to school students.

The intern will work directly under Rahul Patwa, PhD from IIT Guwahati, supporting day-to-day lab activities, experiments, demonstrations, and student-facing science projects.

• Assist with day-to-day laboratory activities, experiments, and demonstrations
• Handle lab instruments, equipment, glassware, and materials safely
• Prepare solutions, reagents, and basic experimental setups
• Follow experimental protocols carefully and maintain lab records
• Support ongoing research, formulation, testing, and prototype-based work
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the lab
• Help explain basic scientific concepts and experiments to school students in a clear and engaging way
• Support mentors during student lab sessions and practical demonstrations
  

• Currently pursuing or completed MSc in Chemistry, Material Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
• Must be based in Jaipur and available to work from the lab
• Prior hands-on lab experience through coursework, dissertation, internship, or research project
• Familiarity with common lab instruments, glassware, reagents, and safety practices
• Strong understanding of basic scientific principles
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and complete assigned tasks responsibly
• Good communication skills, especially the ability to simplify science for younger learners
  

• Curious, reliable, and eager to learn
• Strong attention to detail and good lab discipline
• Prior experience working with students, teaching, or science demonstrations is a plus
• Comfortable working in the evening slot from 8 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Friday
• Interest in hands-on STEM education, research, and project-based learning
  

This is a 3-month paid internship based in Jaipur. The role offers practical lab exposure, mentorship under an IIT-Guwahati PhD, and experience working on real-world student science projects.
