L2 Network Security Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer (L2) with hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong operational expertise in Palo Alto and Juniper Firewalls, along with exposure to IPS, DDoS protection, and Akamai solutions. The role involves incident handling, monitoring, troubleshooting, policy management, and ensuring network security availability across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Palo Alto and Juniper security infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve firewall, IPS, and DDoS incidents.
• Implement and manage firewall rules, policies, and security changes.
• Support Akamai security and DDoS protection solutions.
• Perform incident analysis, root cause identification, and escalations.
• Ensure security device availability, performance, and compliance.

Requirements

• 47 years of experience in Network Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Juniper, IPS, DDoS, and Akamai.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, Routing & Switching.
• Experience in 24x7 operations/support environments.
