Job Description
. Microsoft SQL Server: backup/restore, user management, basic performance analysis.
. MySQL: replication monitoring and basic performance tuning.
. Azure DbaaS (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL): provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
. IIS, Apache, and Tomcat: installation, configuration, log analysis, and SSL setup.
. SharePoint (2016/2019/Online): site management, access configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
. Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration.
. Experience with PowerShell or Shell scripting.
. Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and certificate management.
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in database administration and support.
- Knowledge of database security and optimisation.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working with database management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
