About this role
L1 DLP Support engineer
Experience: 2+ Yrs
Location: Banglore
Mode: WFO
Shift : Genral 8AM-6PM (Alternate saturday working)
Preferred Skill Set:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of DLP concepts and data protection controls
- Hands-on experience with Forcepoint DLP, Microsoft Purview or similar DLP solutions
- Experience in DLP incident monitoring, analysis, and initial investigation
- First-level troubleshooting of DLP agents, policy-related issues, and endpoint connectivity
- Monitoring DLP alerts/incidents, initial triage, and escalation to L2
- Understanding of DLP policies, rules, exceptions, and false-positive handling
- Basic knowledge of endpoint security, Active Directory, email, web, and data transfer channels
- Ability to perform daily health checks, reporting, incident tracking, and operational activities
- Strong documentation and communication skills for coordinating with IT, application, and business teams
- Willingness to work required support/shift coverage for supported entities
