Mandatory Skills- RAN, L1 Layer - HIGH PHY(Physical) LAYER, C/C++,3GPP Specifications

Preferred Skills: Intel Xeon 6 processor, Flex RAN

Skill-set & Expertise Level

• 2-8 yrs of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in LTE/NR PHY Layer, DSP, RF, Antennas
• Expertise in modulation, coding (FEC, Low Density Parity Check/ LDPC, Turbo decoding), MIMO, beamforming, Complex I/Q sample processing, FFT / IFFT, Channel estimation & equalization, Modulation / demodulation
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, real time embedded systems, FPGA/ASIC/GPU/ based programming
• Experience with fronthaul (CPRI/eCPRI) and L1 acceleration
• PHY/RF software development experience
• Additional years of driving delivery of 4G/5G L1 programs

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures
• Review and Mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence in the following:
• Optimize L1 for latency, throughput, and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization
• Interface with Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems
• Debug PHY issues using logs, IQ capture, and lab equipment
• Ability to drive large scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom
• Ability to communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders
