Job Description :KYC Analyst / KYC Executive
Position: KYC Analyst
Department: Operations
Industry: Banking / Financial Services / Wealth Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks for individual and non-individual clients.
- Review and verify client documents including identity proof, address proof, PAN, incorporation documents, and beneficial ownership details.
- Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers and escalated cases.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and AML guidelines.
- Follow up with clients, relationship managers, and internal teams for pending documentation or clarifications.
- Monitor and update client records periodically as part of Re-KYC processes.
- Identify suspicious or unusual transactions and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to KYC status, deficiencies, and account restrictions.
- Coordinate with onboarding, compliance, and operations teams for smooth account opening and maintenance.
- Ensure timely closure of KYC reviews within defined turnaround times (TAT).
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of KYC, AML, CDD, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of customer onboarding and documentation processes.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and banking/compliance systems.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Banking, Wealth Management, NBFC, or Financial Services.
Experience:
- 1 -5 years of experience in KYC/AML/CDD operations.
