Kotlin Developer Intern

Location: Bangalore (On-site/Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months

The Role

As a Kotlin Developer Intern, you will work closely with our design and development teams to build robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications while contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
• Build intuitive UIs using Jetpack Compose and XML
• Convert Figma designs into functional apps
• Integrate REST APIs and manage app data
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Debug and fix application issues
• Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams
• Use Git and GitHub for version control
• Follow Android best practices and coding standards
• Participate in agile development and code reviews

Skills Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Kotlin and Android development
• Familiarity with Android Studio and SDK
• Understanding of Material Design
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose or XML layouts
• Understanding of REST APIs and async programming
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Basic understanding of MVC or MVVM
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork
• Eagerness to learn

Good to Have

• Android projects (academic/personal)
• Knowledge of Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation)
• Experience with Retrofit or Volley
• Experience with Room or SQLite
• Knowledge of Hilt or Dagger
• Exposure to Firebase
• Portfolio or GitHub projects
• Play Store deployment experience
