Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting (FA)

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Fund Accounting (FA) operations.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following processes:
• Trade Processing
• Reconciliation
• NAV Validation
• Bookkeeping & Journal Entries (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, fund accounting workflows, and financial controls.
• Experience in handling 2 to 4 clients/funds independently in previous roles.
• Ability to manage end-to-end deliverables while ensuring accuracy and adherence to SLA timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience.

Mandatory Skills

• Fund Accounting operations experience.
• Bookkeeping and journal entry processing experience.
• Reconciliation and NAV validation knowledge.
• Stakeholder/client management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multiple fund structures and asset classes.
• Ability to review and validate accounting entries and financial reports.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members or handling process responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
A Fund Accounting professional with at least 2 years of experience, strong bookkeeping and journal entry expertise, exposure to trade processing/reconciliations/NAV validation, and proven experience managing multiple funds or clients with excellent communication skills.
