About this role
Job discription
Responsible for operations of warehouse locations
Manage overall performance of warehouse operations.
Establish KPI’s for purposes of managing this performance.
Manage external warehouse suppliers.
Determine and harmonize working procedures between Customer Service, Planning, and Logistics Hub.
Lead effort in network optimization in close collaboration between Procurement, Logistics, Planning and Marketing and Sales.
Support in optimizing transport to and from warehouse locations and optimise the cost reduction.
Manage the operational payment/invoice process for 3rd party Vendors.
Drive supplier performance.
Approval of costs and extra costs (significant approvals by Warehouse manager)
Define projects for purposes of improvement (Transport costs, Inventory optimization).
Desired profile :
5 - 10 years warehouse design or warehouse management related experience. (Automobile industry or tractor division background preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree preferred – Preferably logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge of SAP, Warehouse Management Systems, Transport management systems.
Candidates who have handled one or more clients in one or more region will be given preference.
Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced skills MS Office - Data analysis, PowerPoint.
Well Versed In Excel – Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot Table.
Good English Fluency.
