Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Kubernetes/K3s platforms.
• Work hands-on with Go, Kubernetes, containerd/CRI and Linux.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Linux networking, cgroups, iptables/netfilter, containers and Kubernetes.
• Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes/K3s components and dependencies.
• Work on platform automation, CI/CD, testing and release engineering.
• Handle production issues, perform RCA and performance/reliability optimization.
• Work with PKI/certificates, storage/CSI and observability.
• Develop automation using Python, Ansible and Bash.
• Contribute to Kubernetes/cloud-native open-source components where required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Kubernetes strong hands-on experience
• Go/Golang – professional experience
• K3s / Kubernetes distribution experience
• Containerd / CRI
• Linux
• Linux networking – iptables/netfilter/nftables
• cgroups / cgroups v2
• Python – working proficiency
• Ansible
• Docker / Helm
• Kubernetes troubleshooting and internals
• PKI / certificate management
• CI/CD and platform automation

Good to Have:

• kube-router
• Kubernetes/K3s source-code experience
• K3s fork maintenance
• CSI/storage
• CNCF/open-source contributions
• Edge/embedded environment experience
