Position Name: Juniper and Cloud Network Engineer

Role Summary:
Lead the migration of critical applications from Juniper-based on-premises data centre infrastructure to AWS. Design, implement, and optimize both on-prem and cloud networking solutions. Guide and mentor a team of engineers to ensure seamless transition with minimal downtime.
What Youll Do:
- Lead planning, design, and execution of network infrastructure migration from on-premises Juniper-based systems to AWS
- Map existing Juniper and Cisco network configurations to AWS networking services
- Champion network security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, DDoS protection, and compliance
- Define and oversee testing strategies for network performance, redundancy, and failover
- Guide and mentor engineers in resolving network issues and optimizing performance
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for on-prem and AWS network infrastructure
- Serve as primary technical liaison across engineering, SRE, and infrastructure teams to align migration strategy
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Experience as a Lead Network Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with Juniper and Cisco environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, OSPF
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins
- AWS networking and migration experience
- Experience with Juniper and Cisco firewalls and switches
- Network security protocols understanding
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with Azure and Google Public Cloud network administration
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline
