Junior Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content under the guidance of senior editors,
• Assemble raw video and audio footage into structured and engaging edits.
• Add basic motion graphics, transitions, titles, subtitles, music, and other visual elements.
• Perform basic colour correction, audio syncing, and video cleanup.
• Support senior editors with revisions, exports, and project-related tasks.
• Organise footage, project files, and media assets efficiently.
• Learn and stay updated with editing trends, AI-assisted tools, and platform-specific video formats.

Preferred candidate profile

• Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of video editing experience can apply.
• Good working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of cuts, pacing, music, transitions, and visual flow.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and aspect ratios.
• Creative mindset with a strong willingness to learn and improve.
• Good attention to detail and basic time-management skills.
• A portfolio/showreel is preferred; freshers with practice work or personal projects are encouraged to apply.
