Junior Unreal Developer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Unreal Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will contribute to building high-quality real-time applications using Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5), working closely with experienced developers, designers, and artists. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about real-time development and eager to grow their technical skills in a collaborative environment.

What You Will Do:

• Support development of features and systems in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5)
• Implement gameplay mechanics and functionality using Blueprints and/or C++
• Assist with debugging, testing, and resolving technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, art, and engineering
• Follow established coding standards and best practices
• Contribute to performance optimization efforts under guidance
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Document work and maintain clear technical notes

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Demonstrated portfolio or shipped projects strongly preferred

Must Have Skills:

• 1 - 3 years of experience with Unreal Engine (academic, internship, or personal projects acceptable)
• Basic understanding of Unreal Engine concepts: Blueprint scripting Actor/component system Gameplay framework fundamentals
• Foundational programming knowledge (C++ preferred or willingness to learn)
• Understanding of core programming concepts (OOP, logic, debugging)
• Experience working on Unreal projects (portfolio or GitHub required)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)
• Experience using Unreal Engine 5
• Exposure to: UI development (UMG) Animation systems or AI basics Performance optimization concepts
• Participation in game jams, academic projects, or indie development
• Familiarity with other engines (Unity, etc.)
• Interest in VR/AR or real-time simulation development
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within Unreal Engine
• Positive attitude and openness to feedback
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for game development, simulation, or real-time 3D experiences
