Junior UI/UX Designer

We also collaborate with the pharma, materials, chemical, and energy industries to accelerate their R&D through AI/ML and computational modeling and simulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in UX Design, UI Design, or Product Design.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in design (B.Des, M.Des), Fine Arts (BA), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in Figma (Design Systems, Prototyping, Components, Auto Layout) and Adobe Illustrator.
• Good understanding of visual design fundamentals, including colour theory, typography, layout, and composition.
• Experience designing for cross-platform applications (desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Working knowledge of Design Thinking (UCD), Information Architecture, and Interaction Design principles.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data-informed design, including user research, usability testing, or A/B testing.
• Awareness of motion designs and accessibility basics (WCAG) is a plus.
• Interest in scientific visualization, data visualization, or complex data interfaces is preferred.
• Comfortable contributing to marketing and communication materials (e.g., visual assets, campaign creatives, product collateral) when needed.

• Demonstrates curiosity, willingness to learn, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design ideas clearly.
