Role Purpose
An apprenticeship role: builds telecom domain fluency on the job while absorbing the day-to-day clarification load so the Mid-level Analyst and Senior Consultant arent bottlenecked on routine questions.
This is an early-career role designed for someone who is interested in B2B SaaS, subscription management, billing automation, and enterprise platforms. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Development, QA, and client teams to understand requirements, document functional behaviour, validate data, and support UAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting domain requirements from the clients business team under the guidance of the Mid-level Analyst and Senior Consultant.
- Maintain a domain glossary/FAQ/knowledge base for the development team.
- Research competitor and industry telecom feature trends to feed the innovation backlog the Senior Consultant curates.
- Support data validation and UAT coordination tasks.
- Shadow customer calls to build direct domain fluency over time.
Must-Have Skills Experience
- 0-3 years of experience; fresh graduates with a telecom-related academic background (B.Tech/BE in Telecommunications or Electronics, or a telecom management certificate/diploma) are strongly encouraged to apply, as are candidates with 1-2 years in a telecom BPO, operations, or customer-facing support role.
- Genuine interest in the telecom industry, strong written and verbal communication, and disciplined documentation habits.
- Basic understanding of enterprise software, SaaS platforms, billing, subscriptions, and technology products. - this is trainable and will be developed on the job.

- Customer and order lifecycle
- Subscription concepts
- Recurring billing
- Invoicing
- Payments
- Basic taxation concepts
Nice-to-Have
- An internship or academic project touching telecom or billing systems.
- Exposure to SaaS, cloud services, telecom, IT services, or marketplace platforms.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft CSP / Microsoft NCE or cloud marketplace concepts.
- Understanding of APIs and basic integration concepts.
- Basic familiarity with telecom regulatory terminology.
- Basic MySQL.
Education
Bachelors degree; Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science preferred but not mandatory.
