About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and develop structural models using STAAD Pro, Tekla, and AutoCAD 2D for substation equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to inspect existing structures and provide recommendations for modifications or repairs.
- Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and reports for submission to clients.
Job Requirements :
- 1-4 years of experience in structural design engineering with a focus on substation design.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Tekla, Autocad 2D, Excel, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong understanding of steel design principles and practices.
- Experience working on high-voltage transmission lines or substations is an asset.
