Junior Store Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Stores & Inventory Management
• Ensure proper control over receipt and dispatch of aircraft spares/materials.
• Maintain the upkeep and organization of the storage area.
• Ensure materials are stored as per prescribed manufacturers storage conditions.
2. Goods Receipt & Documentation
• Generate and complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for owned stock.
• Generate Customer Goods Receipts (CGR) for customer stock within prescribed timelines.
• Maintain proper records and traceability of GRNs, CGRs and issue documents.
3. Quality Inspection
• Conduct quality inspection of aircraft spares, materials, tools and equipment.
• Perform inspections as per applicable regulations and company policies.
• Issue Acceptance Tags after successful inspection.
4. Discrepancy & Rejection Management
• Prepare Discrepancy Reports for qualitative and quantitative discrepancies in goods receipts.
• Generate Rejection Notes wherever required.
• Ensure discrepancy and rejection documentation is completed within timelines.
5. SEZ & Customs Coordination
• Liaise with SEZ authorities for clearance of receipt and dispatch of stores.
• Ensure timely clearance and avoid delays in material movement.
6. Unserviceable Component Management
• Account for unserviceable components removed from aircraft.
• Coordinate their return to customers without discrepancies.
7. Environmental & Shelf-Life Control
• Monitor and maintain storage-area temperature and humidity records.
• Prepare the monthly shelf-life expiry list.
• Monitor shelf-life items on a daily basis.
• Remove expired items from the storage area and initiate scrapping as required.
8. Material Issue & Stock Audit
• Issue spares/materials against authorized material requests.
• Conduct stock audits at prescribed intervals.
• Minimize inventory discrepancies and ensure audit compliance.
9. Tools & Equipment Dispatch
• Dispatch tools and equipment to repair/calibration agencies on time.
• Monitor the status and timely return of tools/equipment.
10. Storage Area Supervision
• Conduct weekly supervisory checks of the storage area.
• Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping of the stores area.
11. Record Keeping & Compliance
• Maintain complete and accurate stores documentation.
• Ensure traceability of receipt, issue and dispatch records.
• Support customer, regulatory and internal audits.
