Junior Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Site Engineer in supervising daily construction activities.
• Review construction drawings and follow approved plans, specifications, and instructions.
• Monitor work done by site workers and subcontractors to ensure it meets project requirements.
• Take site measurements and help prepare quantity and progress records.
• Check materials delivered to site and report any shortages or quality concerns.
• Support quality inspections and report defective or incomplete work to the Senior Site Engineer.
• Help track daily progress and report delays, site issues, or resource requirements.
• Coordinate with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
• Maintain daily site reports, photographs, measurement records, and other project documents.
• Follow site safety rules and promptly report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Carry out other site-related duties assigned by the Senior Site Engineer or Project Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering; freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of civil construction, construction drawings, and site activities.
• Willingness to work at the project site and learn under the guidance of senior staff.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Responsible, punctual, organized, and safety-conscious.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Able to work on-site and adapt to project requirements.
