About this role
About The Role:
NVT Quality Lifestyle is looking for a Junior Site Engineer to support day-to-day execution at our construction site, ensuring quality, safety and timely completion of work as per drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Execution & Supervision:
- Supervise site work - RCC, Brickwork, Plastering, Waterproofing, Finishing works.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ and quality standards.
- Manage daily labour and contractor work and allocate tasks.
2. Quality & Measurement:
- Check quality of materials - cement, steel, aggregate, concrete etc.
- Check line & level, measurement, and concrete pouring quality.
- Prepare measurement sheets and check bills / RA bills of contractors.
3. Coordination:
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Architect, Structural Consultant and Safety Officer.
- Coordinate with material vendors for site material procurement and delivery.
- Report daily progress to Project Manager.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR), Material Requirement, Labour Report.
- Maintain site registers - Material Inward, Concrete Pour Card, Drawing Register.
- Prepare checklists for all activities before, during and after work.
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on site - helmet, harness, safety nets.
- Follow ISO safety & quality procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project (basic).
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction materials and IS codes.
- Good communication and site handling skills.
- Ready to work at site location, flexible with shifts.
Experience: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
Education/ Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
