Junior Abstractor hired in this role will review and abstract clinical information from medical records to support risk adjustment and quality programs. Their work helps ensure accurate documentation, improve data quality, enhance health plan performance metrics, and contribute to better healthcare outcomes for patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Synopsize important information from patient records for accuracy
• Reviewing medical records and abstracting necessary information to close the gap on the quality measure
• Keep abreast of the guidelines and updates
• Comply with confidentiality standards and HIPAA privacy regulations
• Perform other tasks and projects as needed by chart operations
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications -

• Graduation from Life Sciences Background / Medical Allied
• Proficient computer skills
• Proven attention to detail
• Proven good communication skills (both verbal and written)
